TENTACLES..
The Entanglement of Alcoholism
By S. Thomas Greeley
Publisher: The Cheshire Press
2014

About …
Tom Greeley knows too well how insidious alcoholism can be. He has experienced how the disease entraps not only the drinking person, but the entire family. He writes about the incredible isolation, the credit card debt, and the anguish over his children’s safety. In Tentacles..The Entanglement of Alcoholism, he narrates the journey of the long attempt to rescue an alcoholic spouse and save his family from the spiral of destruction ordained by the path of alcoholism.

Here’s how The Cheshire Press helped …
Tom Greeley’s manuscript had paragraphing and punctuation issues, so The Cheshire Press supplied editing services in addition to the customary prepress work required for publication. Tom arrived, however, with a handsome cover illustration executed by Crispin Wood. We extended the illustration to wrap around to the book’s back cover, exactly matching the red wine color in the illustration. Book design, galleys and proof copies were produced as usual and with approval of final copy, Tom Greeley was published. The Cheshire Press is presently working on the hardcover and ebook editions of Tentacles..

BALD AS A BEAN
The Experience Of Sudden Hair Loss

By Nancy Parsons
Publisher: Foursquare Books
2006
About …
In a society that equates youth, health and even sexual attractiveness with luxurious manes of hair, a woman who goes suddenly bald faces a nightmare of emotions: grief, loss, horror, humiliation and fear. In a compelling story of self-learning and growth, the author tells how she learned to cope and accept.

Here’s how The Cheshire Press helped …
The text and the book design were in place when the author applied to us for the next steps in publishing. We helped secure the ISBN and Library of Congress numbers, prepared the book for uploading to the online printer, ensuring that all the printer’s specs were correctly met. Finally we designed the author’s website, including PayPal ordering, and continue to maintain and host the site.
